Medical device company Trivitron Healthcare has recently announced its collaboration with Anatomage Inc, to distribute virtual anatomy dissection table for medical education for scholars, researchers, medical & healthcare students in South and West regions in India.
Anatomage’s virtual anatomy dissection table is a fully segmented real human 3D anatomy visualisation system for anatomy and physiology education. Users can visualise anatomy exactly as they would on a fresh cadaver. Individual structures are reconstructed in accurate 3D, resulting in a level of real accurate anatomy, dissectible in 3D. The table allows for exploration and learning of human anatomy for educational and training purposes.
The table allows students to interact with young and well-preserved digital cadavers. The students and researchers can visualise real human content making use of the videos that accurately illustrate almost every region and system from the human body including moving organs like heart, lungs etc. and other anatomically intricate structures, like blood vessels, nerves and etc, says the company.
“Students have traditionally relied on books and cadavers for medical dissection and studies, which can put them at the risk of exposure to various contagious diseases at times. With Anatomage Virtual anatomy dissection table, medical education will become more advanced, effective and safe.” said Sudip Bagchi, President-Critical Life Support Systems, Trivitron Healthcare.
